Fire-resistance in numbers
In tests, GD DORIGO REI-certified doors withstood fire for 30, 40, and 60 minutes. The minimum fire-resistance times required for REI-approved doors are also 30, 40 and 60 minutes for 100% safety guaranteed.
GD DORIGO doors are not only fireproof, they are also soundproof, creating a barrier that dampens noise by 27db.
Applications
GD DORIGO firebreak doors can be adapted to fit any environment, whether public or private, making them suitable wherever people or things need protection. Whilst REI doors may provide an extra safety guarantee and general peace of mind in family homes, in public environments such as hotels, offices, hospitals, schools and institutional buildings, safety is a legal requirement to safeguard people and their general peace of mind, especially in unforeseen events such as fires.
Wide range of models
The main benefit of GD DORIGO doors is that a REI-compliant version of the STILUS, LUX, IMAGO and VENUS doors can be supplied, as represented in the Professional collection: a wide range of models, that can be made with any design or inlay, wood effect and colour. This means that with GD DORIGO, you can have the same design and style, without having to compromise on REI-certified safety!
Tests
All GD DORIGO REI doors have certified fire-retardant properties compliant with UNI 9723/1996.
This regulation prescribes fire-resistance testing methods and classification criteria for moving or fixed elements used to close apertures in partition walls.
It applies to single or double doors which swing on a vertical axis.
